Assessing Challenges and Implications
of the Coronavirus Pandemic
May 7, 20201:00 pm ET
The COVID-19 health crisis represents the biggest stress-test the Internet has faced so far. By keeping us communicating on all levels without fear of infection and the lightning speed with which novel approaches to address pandemic circumstances emerged, it has become one of the Internet’s finest hours. At the same time, the virus revealed important long-term issues and challenges to our public, business, and personal policies, practices, and behavior.
CircleID, in co-operation with community members, is hosting an online roundtable where participants will examine the emerging challenges and future implications of this global pandemic to Internet operations and policies; where are we, and where do we go from here?
This is the first of what we hope to be a series of dialogues to explore what CircleID members are thinking about in real-time. Questions from the public may be submitted upon registration and during the program. We want to know what you want to know.
