Erica Wass is a journalist and an attorney. She holds a B.A. from Barnard College, an M.S. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, and a J.D. and LL.M. in Intellectual Property from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
Erica is the contributing author and editor of the book “Addressing the World: National Identity and Internet Country Code Domains” (Rowman & Littlefield, October 2003 - ISBN: 0742528103). Erica often writes about the Internet and the social implications of its use and governance. In addition to being a Lecturer in the Strategic Communications Program at Columbia University, Erica is a frequent classroom guest lecturer on Internet law issues and is a co-founder of the non-profit organization Netgraf, which through its Web site, Netgraf.org, examines issues and trends related to online journalism and journalism education.
Originally from Dover, Delaware, she lives in New York City with her husband, Troy.
