At the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard Law School, Mary works on a variety of projects involving writing and communications. She develops content for the Digital Media Project, writes for the Filter, creates Berkman Briefings, works on AudioBerkman, serves as press contact, and more.
Mary graduated from Harvard College in 2001 with a concentration in History of Science in the Mind, Brain, and Behavioral Studies program. Since then, she has lived in Seattle (doing creative writing while working at the University of Washington); Montgomery, Alabama (working for a publishing house); and most recently Los Angeles (working at Ms. Magazine).
