Clyde Beattie has been a serial entrepreneur and investor for 30 years. He has experience in corporate governance in public, private and not-for-profit sectors. He was an active collaborator on International DNS (domain) Governance Policy development. He was the Chair of the Canadian Internet Registry Authority (CIRA) which was established by government of Canada to operate the .CA Internet country code Top Level Domain (ccTLD) and was their delegate to Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).
Mr. Beattie was honored by Canada’s Minister of Industry and CANARIE for his contribution to the founding and building of the dot-ca domain. Mr. Beattie said “I look forward to IFFOR becoming a major global contributor to the protection of children online, Internet safety and the support of free expression.”
