Jack Hazan heads up Hilco Streambank’s New York office, where he oversees the daily operation of Hilco Streambank’s various businesses, including IPv4.Global, brand & domain disposition and owned brand management.
Jack brings a broad range of restructuring, business development, and entrepreneurial experience to Hilco Streambank. He started his career as General Counsel of Nobody Beats the Wiz, a former consumer electronics chain. He went on to practice law as part of the bankruptcy and restructuring group at Kramer Levin and served as General Counsel and VP of Business Development at Azrak Capital Group. Before joining Gabe to build Streambank in 2010, Jack had been at the forefront of high-level deal making, including The Wiz’s section 363 sale in to Cablevision, the sale of Casual Male in bankruptcy, Azrak Capital’s sale of American Marketing Enterprises to Chinese conglomerate Li & Fung. Since starting Streambank with Gabe, Jack has been instrumental at closing numerous deals and building new businesses at Hilco Streambank.

In a publication released on October 2, 2020, RIPE NCC reported its first seizure of IPv4 registration rights pursuant to a Dutch court order. Pursuant to the order, RIPE NCC effectuated a transfer of the IP Addresses from the liquidating debtor to its creditor. Although these IP Addresses could not be owned, they were apparently not legacy. Thus, they conferred no "property rights" - the registration rights were deemed an enforceable right that has value and were to be utilized towards satisfaction of a judgment. more
