Paul Ebersman has been building and operating large Internet infrastructure since it was the ARPANET. Some of those builds include the first two generations of UUNET’s ALTER.NET backbone, the dialup infrastructure for MSN, and the DNS for Comcast (second largest at the time).

Paul is a Senior Advisor at Layer 9 Technologies LLC and has been actively involved in IETF and ISO standards development, operational groups like NANOG, RIPE, DNS-OARC, and others, and on the boards of the Internet Society and DNS-OARC. Paul has given many talks and tutorials on various protocols, such as IPv6, DNS, DNSSEC, DANE, and BGP.
