About

Joe is an Advisor to Intis Telecom, the registry operating the it.com domain name.  He is also the owner of CauseWell Insurance Services, which specializes in business and cyber insurance.

In years past, he was a Director for Afilias, and VP of Channel Development, for ICANN-accredited domain registrar 101domain.com, which offers the world’s largest selection of domain names. Before that, he was the North American General Manager for CentralNic, a London-based domain name registry & consultancy.  He also served on the Board of Directors for the Domain Name Association from 2017 until 2020.

Joe was involved in writing the business plans and applications for approximately 60 new gTLDs and has spoken on Day to Day Registry Operations and Management Best Practices for New TLD Applicants at ICANN (http://syd.icann.org/node/4050).  He has been involved in over 30 ICANN meetings since 2001 and is an expert in domain name investments, registries, and registrars.
