Greg Shatan is a lawyer in private practice and the President of the Internet Society—New York Chapter (ISOC-NY). He is a partner with Moses & Singer in New York, where he is a member of the Intellectual Property, Internet & Technology and Privacy & Cybersecurity practices. Greg served as President of the ICANN Intellectual Property Constituency (IPC) (2015-17) and has participated in numerous ICANN Working Groups since 2007.

Greg has over 32 years of experience addressing cutting-edge issues at the intersection of law, technology, policy, creativity and digital rights. His practice includes intellectual property and technology transactions and counseling; IP and technology issues in corporate transactions; online privacy, data protection and cybersecurity concerns; Internet and domain name law; web accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act; and strategic advice, counseling and enforcement of IP rights, particularly online. Greg graduated from Columbia Law School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Columbia-VLA Journal of Law & the Art and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and from Wesleyan University (B.A. Sociology/Psychology, Music).
