Samaneh Tajalizadehkhoob is a prominent scientific leader at the intersection of internet infrastructure security, artificial intelligence, and global governance. As the Director of Security Stability & Resiliency at ICANN, she leads the Office of the CTO’s efforts to measure and mitigate systemic risks to the Internet’s unique identifier systems, ensuring a resilient foundation for the global digital economy.

Samaneh is a member of the ICANN Security and Stability Advisory Committee (SSAC) and a recognized voice in the world’s leading operational and policy forums. She served as a member of the Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) for the UN Internet Governance Forum (IGF), representing the Technical Community to ensure that infrastructure stability remains a priority in international policy. Her commitment to the ecosystem is further evidenced by her work on the RIPE NCC Community Projects Fund Committee and her active scientific leadership within FIRST and M3AAWG, where she bridges the gap between technical anti-abuse operations and high-level strategy.

A cornerstone of the scientific community, Samaneh serves on the Program Committees of the top five global security conferences, shaping the research that defines the future of the field. Her foundational expertise is rooted in a PhD from Delft University of Technology in Web Security, Machine Learning, and Security Economics. This multidisciplinary background allows her to move fluently between Technology, Science, and Policy, translating complex data into actionable insights for global stakeholders.

Based in the Netherlands, Samaneh is a frequent speaker and advocate for an evidence-based, multistakeholder approach to internet governance.
