Laura Hendriksen joined ISC in November of 2003. Her role is to drive membership in ISC programs such as Software Guild BIND Forum and OARC for DNS and increase sponsorship participation. Hendriksen also is responsible for Marketing and Public Relations.

Hendriksen comes to ISC with experience in the DNS and DHCP market having previously worked for Nominum in a similar role. Her Internet experience began in 1996 while at Digital, where she was a founding member of PAIX, the first commercial, neutral Internet Exchange point that grew to be one of the largest global exchange points in under 3 years. Her initial role was developing and implementing key sales strategies, initiatives and programs for the new Internet Exchange. Later she assumed the role of General Manager of PAIX and was part of the divestiture team that negotiated the sale of the business from Compaq (formerly Digital) to AboveNet and through the subsequent acquisition by Metromedia Fiber Network guiding the business through a period of rapid expansion. Prior to PAIX, her experience includes creating and implementing marketing programs with partners and resellers and direct sales to enterprise customers.
