Born in the United States to an American father and Canadian mother, he straddles the border between the United States and the rest of the world. Married to a franco-ontarienne, he sees the world as a larger and more complex place than his first years in Massachusetts led him to believe. Self-educated, with time spent at the University of Waterloo.
Lives, plays and develops in the open source world. Not due to religious fanatical reasons, just because he likes to be able to open the hood and see how things work. Write code in most languages. Work on about any platform.
