Founded Parsons Technology in 1984 in his basement. After 2 years and going broke twice with this company, discovered how to direct market software and became profitable in 1987. Parsons Technology grew to 1,000 employees with a customer base of over 3 million customers worldwide and $90 million in annual sales. Sold Parsons Technology in 1996 to Mountain View, Calif.-based Intuit, Inc. Founded GoDaddy.com in 1997. GoDaddy.com is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona.
