Richard Coffre joined Afnic in March 2018 as Project Manager, where he is responsible for overseeing the redesign of the domain name registration system; a project successfully completed in 2022. On a daily basis, his role is to act as a facilitator between the different departments and the IT department by applying the Agile method, with the objective of implementing the best solutions to carry out the projects entrusted. Finally, as part of the training offer offered by AFNIC, Richard gives sessions on the bases of DNS and the domain name industry. It also gives sessions on the issues of internet governance. In this context, he made several presentations at the Internet Governance Forum, chapter France, where he developed the importance of submarine cables for the sovereignty of the French state and its overseas. Richard graduated from EISTI (CY Tech) in 1992, he began his career with research and development assignments in Artificial Intelligence, then moved on to management informatics for major accounts and became, over the years, project manager and consultant. He is successively responsible for the management of the production of print and online directories at Pages Jaunes, head of a team of Business Analysts at Pixmania and then Agile Coach at Zenika. In parallel to his duties, he has been a lecturer in Agile project management for more than ten years, currently at Grenoble École de Management.
