Ms. Welling is a seasoned technology and cybersecurity leader with over two decades of experience spanning government, international policy, and internet infrastructure. She served as Technology Advisor to the U.S. Executive Office of the President during the Obama Administration and represented the United States at the United Nations and other international forums on advancements in AI, Quantum Computing, and Cybersecurity. Her leadership roles within the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), the Root Server System Advisory Committee (RSSAC), and ICANN’s Nominating Committee (NomCom) have contributed meaningfully to the stability and security of the global Internet. Ms. Welling holds a Senior Executive Fellowship from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland. She also holds two premier, globally recognized certifications: the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and the Project Management Professional (PMP).
