Vaughn Liley is CEO of Link Freedom Group (LFG), where he leads strategy across the company’s proposed portfolio of TLD applications in ICANN’s 2026 New gTLD Program. He also continues to serve as General Manager of Nova Registry, an LFG subsidiary and the registry operator of the .link top-level domain.
Vaughn brings deep expertise across the full domain stack, with more than 15 years at the forefront of registry operations, commercial strategy and new gTLD development. His career includes senior leadership roles at Uniregistry, Minds + Machines and ICM Registry, spanning global distribution, business development, partnerships and registry growth.
At Nova Registry, he has helped grow .link to more than 300,000 registered domains across a global partner network, giving him practical experience across the full lifecycle of a TLD, from registrar relationships and pricing to policy, operations and long-term adoption.
A recognized voice in the domain industry, Vaughn now brings that experience to LFG as it looks to build and operate durable namespaces at scale.
