The Registration Operations Workshop (ROW) is an informal industry conference that brings together professionals from across the domain name and DNS ecosystem to discuss the technical and operational aspects of domain name registration, maintenance, and IP addressing.
Since its inception in 2014, the ROW, supported by our sponsors Verisign, ICANN, and CIRA, has provided a forum for industry professionals, including TLD/ccTLD registries, domain name registrars, resellers, government, academia and other stakeholders, to share practical experiences and discuss operational challenges, exchange technical knowledge and best practices.
The event is deliberately informal and focused on real-world experience. Rather than concentrating solely on standards or theoretical approaches, the ROW provides an opportunity for participants to explore technical topics related to operational experiences of implementing registration and maintenance operations.
The 15th edition of the ROW will take place virtually on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, 13:00 - 17:00 UTC.
The workshop will feature a series of technical presentations, each followed by an opportunity for community members to engage with the speakers, ask questions, and discuss the topics presented.
The session will cover the following topics:
Participation in the workshop is free of charge, but registration is required. Registered participants will receive the Zoom meeting credentials ahead of the event.
All interested community members are encouraged to participate.
