Webinar Screencast: Understanding the Various Distribution Strategies for New gTLDs

LogicBoxes conducted a webinar a few days ago where they shared insights into some interesting industry trends that are expected to impact New gTLDs. These trends are indications on how the industry is set to evolve in the near future. New gTLD applicants, who are leaders of the Internet revolution, will need to respond to these trends in order to survive and succeed.

The webinar discussed about the distribution models that have been employed by New gTLDs in the past and how Vertical Integration, which wasn’t permitted until only recently by ICANN, now offers a strategic advantage to New gTLDs. Existing gTLDs too aren’t wasting time in getting on the Vertical Integration Bus. Yet, since each New gTLD is unique in almost every way, there can’t be a one-size-fits-all launch, outreach and distribution plan.

Dramatic shift of power from Registry to Registrar – With 1000+ new TLDs, the traditional model may not work (ppt of the webinar available here)

In case you missed our webinar, the screencast is available for you to watch at IntegrateVertically.com, and you can also download the ppt of the webinar here.
