Our Story

In 2012, the need to own digital real estate was growing, and so was the gap between one's ideal, first-choice domain name and what was available. Our research suggested that more than 70% of the preferred domain names searched for by customers were unavailable. So in the historic moment when ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) invited the initial applications for new domain extensions, the idea of Radix was born.

With the vision to make brandable domain names available to all without compromising, Radix submitted the applications for 31 strings. Radix won the rights to 7 of those strings and has since acquired 3 more.

Today, Radix is the largest new domain Registry in the world by domains under management. Our TLDs' broad applicability and intuitive usage uniquely position us to empower as many people as possible to establish an identity on the Internet with memorable and brandable domain names.

Radix's foundations are based on its core belief that names matter, and this belief has only strengthened with time. Even though Radix is a relatively new player in a well-established industry, the founding team was well entrenched in the domain name business, operating leading wholesale, enterprise, and retail brands. This expertise, along with our innovative marketing strategies and data-driven approach, has helped us beat our benchmarks repeatedly.

Our Management Team

Sandeep Ramchandani, CEO  

With a broad career spanning two decades, Sandeep is an established authority in the global domain name industry. Since 2003, he has been a key member of the Directi Group and has led its enterprise software and consulting business, LogicBoxes, for over 7 years. Sandeep was also a key part of the Endurance International Group's (now Newfold) Domains leadership team.

Under Sandeep's leadership, Radix has grown to become the world's largest portfolio Registry.

Neha Naik, Vice President, Channel Partnerships  

Neha brings over 17 years of experience in the domain name industry, having worked with registrars, registries, and web hosts across the globe. She joined Radix's parent company fresh out of college and soon fell in love with all things domains!

Today, she leads the Channel Partnerships team at Radix and has played a key role in building the strong foundation of Radix's partner network and business relationships. Her experience spans Sales and Channel Management, Product Management, Operations, and Policy.

Suman Das, Vice President, Marketing and Brand Strategy  

Suman spearheads the brand management and direct-to-customer initiatives for Radix. He has led some of Radix’s most innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Suman has 15+ years of experience in Brand Management, Product Management & Strategy, Program Management, Business Development, and IT Consulting across various industries. He has been in the Internet domains industry since 2015.
