As senior vice president and executive strategic advisor, Scott Schnell leverages decades of experience in marketing, sales management and technology to provide high-level advice and lead new initiatives.
Scott joined Verisign in 2012 as senior vice president of global marketing and channel management. In this role he was responsible for leading all domain name channel and go-to-market strategy efforts, as well as managing the company’s registrar account management and digital marketing teams.
Prior to joining Verisign, Scott co-founded and served as president and chief executive officer of VideoIQ, Inc., a video analytics technology company. Before that, he held various positions at RSA Security, including senior vice president of sales, marketing and services, senior vice president of marketing, and vice president of marketing, where he led the company to record revenue and successfully rebranded RSA and its then-parent company, Security Dynamics, to become the single RSA brand. Scott has also held senior-level positions in marketing and sales at Apple and IPG Photonics Corporation.
Scott holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Utah.
