Google Adds U.S. Cellular as Partner for Project Fi

Google today announced the addition of U.S Cellular, a leading mobile networks in the U.S., as its newest partner network for its Project Fi program. U.S. Cellular offers service in 23 states with 4G LTE coverage for more than 99% of their subscribers, both urban and rural. With the addition of a third network, Google will be able to enhance the capability of Project Fi to analyze speeds from each network and predict the fastest network at a particular location—down to the city block—and automatically connect the user.
