Rodney Joffe, Senior Technologist at Neustar, explains that vehicles (beginning with 1998 models) are vulnerable to hacking, but manufacturers have been unable to fix the problem. Wow, this is a good argument for older cars! Glad my two BMWs are not connected to the Internet. Although BMW electronics are known to fail—perhaps it’s the lowest bidder mentality mentioned here!
