Asia-Pacific Job Opening: Join Internet Society Deploy360 Programme to Promote IPv6, DNSSEC, More

Do you live in the Asia-Pacific region and are interested in accelerating the deployment of key technologies such as IPv6, DNSSEC, TLS or secure routing mechanisms? If so, my Internet Society colleagues involved with the Deploy360 Programme are seeking a “Technical Engagement Manager” based somewhere in the AP region. More information about the position, the requirements and the process for applying can be found here.

Having been involved with the Deploy360 Programme since its early days (and still being involved on DNSSEC issues), I think it’s a great effort to get real-world deployment information out to people working on deploying these technologies now. The Deployment & Operationalization (DO) team is a fun, supportive group of people and you’d be working for Internet Society CITO Olaf Kolkman and with the larger technology team.

It’s an excellent opportunity to make a difference for someone in the Asia-Pacific region with the right experience. Please do consider applying!

Note: I’m no longer directly part of this team (I’m now in the Internet Society communications team) and so I have no involvement whatsoever with the hiring process. Please direct inquiries to the email address at the end of the job description.

P.S. We are also hiring for a Manager of Chapter Development in Africa. Another awesome job opportunity for someone in that region!
