Radix Announces the Launch of Namify

Radix launches Namify, to help entrepreneurs build a website with an elegant brand name, domain name and logo.

Radix, one of the world’s largest new domain registries, today announced the launch of its brand name generator, Namify. The name-spinner is aimed at solopreneurs, small business owners and startups looking for affordable brand-building solutions that include brand name, domain name, social media handles as well as a brand logo.

Unlike most other brand name spinners that simply add prefixes and suffixes to the keywords inserted by the user, Namify’s technology understands the essence of what the business is all about and then spins meaningful, brandable names.  Namify’s algorithm is such that it ensures the word pairings are contextual, grammatically correct and logical. It is built on machine learning techniques that improvises on the brand name suggestions over time based on user behavior.

For small businesses and solopreneurs, starting off with a credible online presence can help add momentum to their new business. While that’s ideal, it’s not always possible for them to easily find a short and meaningful domain name, and social media handles that exactly match their chosen brand name. As a result, they tend to compromise on their brand identity; directly impacting how their business is perceived by potential customers.

Speaking about the launch of Namify, Sandeep Ramchandani, CEO, Radix, said, “Radix is focused on engaging and empowering businesses and ideas to build a meaningful presence on the Internet. The first step towards building a successful online brand is getting the name right. We want to help our users with that crucial first step.”

In recent years, the growth in non-employer businesses has been accelerated by the availability of marketplaces, and low code or no-code softwares that make it easier to start and run a business from scratch. Owing to the increase in the number of solopreneurs and small businesses in the US, coupled with the urgency to go online due to COVID-19, there is potential for affordable and ready-made brand building solutions such as Namify that cater specifically to this sector.

As per a recent study by Sprout Social, 77% of consumers say they are more likely to buy from a brand they follow on social media over one they do not; making it crucial to choose a social handle that is available across multiple platforms; a feature that Namify has integrated into its offering.

This is Radix’s first ever foray into the brand name-spinner space. Namify is equipped to suggest intuitive brand names and corresponding domain names on all of Radix’s 10 domain extensions that include .tech, .store, .online, .site, .store, .fun, .space, .website, .host, and .uno. Namify also suggests availability of social media handles along with offering hundreds of logo options to choose from as a free add-on at the end of the domain name purchase.
