AusRegistry International announced today it has appointed Robin Schmitt to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO), in a move that reinforces the organisation’s mission to establish an industry-leading position as a provider of Domain Name Registry Services.
Robin will be responsible for the business operations across all departments within AusRegistry international to ensure efficient and effective management of resources and distribution of services.
The appointment comes in response to the rapid growth of the company, which has seen it more than double staff numbers in the past year and open a new office in the United States. Robin’s main focus within the role of COO will be to manage the continued expansion of AusRegistry International and ensure strong growth over the next five years.
AusRegistry International’s CEO Adrian Kinderis welcomed Robin’s appointment.
“We are excited to have Robin join the C-level management to lead the business through this exciting growth period. Robin’s appointment to the role of Chief Operating Officer will help us achieve the goals outlined in our strategic and operational plans of the organisation at a time of great change within the domain name industry. We have set ambitious targets to grow our global presence, and strong leadership and growth of the business are central to achieving this goal. We are certain that Robin will be an invaluable addition to our global leadership team,” Mr Kinderis said.
Robin was previously responsible for overseeing the deployment of AusRegistry International’s technical services in the position of Development Manager. Before joining AusRegistry International, Robin was a Senior Project Manager at Swinburne University.
