Radix Announces the .in.net CARnival

Radix, today, unveiled the .in.net CARnival, a new competition for its .in.net resellers at the Reseller Club Hosting Summit in New Delhi. The CARnival seeks to increase awareness and adoption of .in.net—an India-focused extension. Spread over three months, the contest promises its winner a brand new Hyundai Eon to drive home in the New Year.

With equal opportunity being the central theme of the contest, the winner is determined based on the ratio of .in.net additions to a base number of other domain additions during the contest period. This innovation allows even small-scale resellers to compete on par with the largest ones, ensuring that no reseller is left out.

“In an industry such as ours, the channel partners are invaluable! To this end, we are very excited about the launch of the .in.net CARnival exclusively for our partners. It is a first-of-its-kind contest and we are proud to be the ones behind it.” said Sandeep Ramchandani, Business Head—.in.net

There are no new India-focused TLDs in the pipeline while the number of Indian internet users is expected to reach 350 million by 2016, creating a gap between demand and supply. Sandeep explained, “With the .in.net extension, we are confident of plugging the demand-supply gap and providing individuals and businesses with an affordable and memorable alternative to .in. The CARnival will only add to the expansion of the primary market for .in.net while giving our channel partners the chance to compete fairly for the grand prize.”
