Verisign is pleased to announce that קום., the new, Verisign-operated, internationalized domain name (IDN) extension that is uniquely designed for Hebrew language speakers, is now open for the registration of domain names by the general public on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability and the applicable registry policies.[1] The General Registration Period for קום. began at 00:00:00 UTC on Nov. 5, 2018, following the Landrush Program Period.[2]
???. has been created to help individuals and businesses build or expand their online presence and capture more Hebrew-speaking customers by connecting with those customers online in their own language. קום. also helps make Hebrew domain names easier for native Hebrew speakers to type and remember. Best of all, קום. is trustworthy because it’s operated by Verisign, the same company that brings you .com.
Both IDN and ASCII second-level labels may be registered in קום.
