Australia Booting Infected Computers Off Their Networks

They seem to work well a decade ago when you were really out of the office and your computer sat under your desk and you couldn't check email till you got to it. Informal Working Group Publish Report On New TLDs

In an interesting move several members of the ICANN community formed an "informal" Working Group to discuss the concept of "expressions of interest" in new Top-Level Domains (TLDs). Malaysian Government to Fully Adopt IPV6 by End of 2012

The Malaysian government is poised to fully adopt the Internet Protocol version 6 or IPv6 by the end of next year and may emerge as the first government in the world to achieve full IPv6 compliance, Deputy Information Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Joseph Salang said. WTSA-2020: Reflecting on a Contemporary ITU-T Role

ICANN’s Final Preparations for New gTLDs

I think it's fair to say that ICANN is in a state of near meltdown at the moment. With less than a week to go before the new gTLD program's first application window is opened, on Thursday January 12, 2012, the amount of work being done is mind-bending.
